Available only from Oakley, HDO offers unbeatable performance and protection. Oakley utilizes proprietary technologies like XYZ Optics to surpass these tests. HDO also includes Oakley’s 100% UV filtering, as well as impact protection worthy of sports professionals. Impact Resistance – When Oakley designs goggles, protection is at the forefront. The most stringent impact testing is called ANSI Z87.1. The high velocity test uses a ¼” stainless steel ball traveling at 102mph. the high mass test uses a 500-gram conical tipped missile dropped from a height of 50 inches. Fit/Comfort – Developed with a 3-D CAD/CAM engineering for a true anatomical fit, Oakley MX goggles are designed to offer the highest level of comfort and performance. Contoured frame architecture provides a continuous seal against dust and debris while allowing moisture to wick away from the skin. All Oakley goggles take advantage of the triple-density fleece foam for optimized comfort and maximum sweat absorption. Anti-Fog – All Oakley goggles use the company’s proprietary F2 anti-fog coating to eliminate haze in the heat of competition. Frame Composition – Engineering breakthroughs in structural materials allow Oakley to produce lightweight, high-performance goggle frames that maintain superior protection and comfort. The polymers in O Matter goggle chassis are formulated for high durability and controlled flexibility for improved safety during impact, as well as maintaining resistance to ultraviolet radiation, humidity, thermal shock, and chemical exposure. Iridium Lens Coatings – Oakley Iridium lens coatings allow the wearer to tune transmission for any light condition. Superheated metallic oxides are fused to the lens at the molecular level, permanently bonding to create a uniform filtering layer that optimizes contrast and minimizes glare. The coatings are specifically formulated to reduce glare and increase contrast while improving depth perception in a wide variety of light conditions.
Dirt. Mud. H2O. Oakley O-Frame motocross goggles are engineered for destroying dirt tracks. With innovative frame construction and industry-best impact resistance, performance meets protection in every tight corner. Extended lens sizes and anti-fog systems give you a clearer view of it all.
Motocross O-Frame Goggles
When you’re waiting at the gate and the adrenalin is pumping, you probably won’t be thinking about the scratch-resistant Lexan lens that gives you a wide-open view of the track. Or the triple-layer face foam that wicks away your sweat. Or the competition ready design that includes a non-slip silicone treated strap and a mounting interface for Oakley laminated tearoffs, the most advanced tearoff system on the planet (sold separately). These goggles are compatible with Attack Mask nose guard.
Durable Construction, Comfortable Fit
Get flexibility even in extreme cold via the urethane frame construction, with the scratch resistance and optical clarity of Lexan lens material. The flexible O-Matter frame delivers a maximized peripheral view. The triple-layer face foam and silicon lining on the inside of the strap provide a secure and stable fit on the face, and the adjustable elastic strap is easy to wear for long periods outdoors.
Optional Iridium Coating
O-Frame MX comes with a choice of three lens tints. The all-purpose Clear lens of O-Frame MX goggles allows the maximum amount of light through for the most accurate representation of your environment. The Dark Grey tint is for medium to bright light, and reduces light levels with a neutral transmission for truer color perception. And the Clear lens with anti-fog treatment provides the clarity benefits of the Clear lens, with the added benefit of anti-fog treatment for better performance in humid environments. Some models of the O-Frame include the glare reduction and tuned light transmission of an optional Iridium lens coating that provides even more performance outdoors.

“As a PSIA examiner I have worked with Kevin on and off the snow for several years. His creativity and knowledge of what works comes through clearly in The Illustrated Guide to Snowboarding. I’d recommend it as a reference to the professional instructor, as well as a how-to for the avid snowboarder and those who wish to be.” — J. Randy Price Member of the PSIA-AASI national demonstration team “As a professional athlete and instructor, working with Kevin and reading his book helped my riding immensely. One of Kevin’s principles is straightforward and perfectly applicable for snowboarding, climbing or just about any sport–your mind leads and your body follows. It works!” — Robyn Ebersfield 4-time World Cup rock climbing champion “Never in my thirty-three years of pioneering, shaping and defining the sport of snowboarding was there ever access to material explaining the technical aspects of riding in such an easy to understand manner. . . . This ‘encyclopedia’ of snowboarding how-to belongs on the shelf of every ski area, snowboard park and bookstore in the snowbelt.” — Paul Graves
